The mission of the alliance is to bring together all of Southern Arizona's
animal welfare organizations and interested individuals for mutual
support and to work together to bring about an end to companion animal
overpopulation through a broad and expanded network of spay/neuter
clinics; education and outreach efforts; and shelter, foster placement
and adoption programs with a common goal of maximizing placements
and minimizing euthanasia of adoptable companion animals.
AWASA is dedicated to ending the euthanasia of adoptable companion animals in southern Arizona.
